The Christian life is meant to be shared – lived in communion with God and in fellowship with one another. This cannot be done alone but is accomplished by the giving of oneself to their neighbor in joy and thanksgiving. St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church is an active and diverse community with many ways to connect.

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness. Romans 12:4-8

40/50s Ministry

Calling all who have graduated from the 20/30’s group and are looking for a place to get involved at SCAPC. Welcome to 40/50s – Fellowship to Go. Kids are getting older or have flown the coop and it’s time to start reconnecting with others while meeting new friends. This group combines all that SCAPC and New Orleans have to offer. Through social and cultural events we enjoy each other’s company and work towards helping others through service. For more information on any event contact Michele Murphy, (michele@dev.scapc.org) or (504) 897-0101 ext. 116.

Senior Adults

The Senior Adults ministry of SCAPC is a great way for our wisest members to get involved in the life of the church! We offer occasional get-togethers, brunches, outings and field trips to explore New Orleans. Contact Don Frampton (frampton@dev.scapc.org) for more information.

Small Groups at SCAPC

In a large faith community like SCAPC, none of us knows everyone, and our many (and ever-changing) Small Groups are an especially important place for us to experience a sense of belonging and grow spiritually. You are invited to experience God more fully by joining any one of these groups at any time. Contact the person listed by each group for more information – or just show up at the next publicized meeting! Help us get to know you better, and join the spiritual journey we are all on together!
